​Using the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) funds, GaDOE will distribute $125 Back-to-School Supply Supplements to eligible school employees this fall. These grants will be provided to all full-time, public-school teachers and staff members who work to provide instructional and supportive services directly to students on a daily basis.

“I hereby affirm that all materials, supplies, or other items purchased through the ecommerce marketplace with this $125 grant (hereinafter the “Grant Funds”) will be used to buy materials, supplies, or other items that can be used for age-appropriate, educational purposes that support the learning, growth, or development of students. Such allowable educational purposes are to enhance classroom materials, address learning loss, mitigate the spread of COVID-19, or benefit the education of students. I affirm that I am a full-time employee of a local education agency, as defined in O.C.G.A § 20-2-167.1. I hereby acknowledge that receipt of these funds is conditional upon my acceptance of these terms. I further acknowledge that these funds can be audited and that I may be required to repay any or all of the Grant Funds if the Grant Funds are not used for the allowable uses set forth herein.”
