Health and Physical Education Update - June 2022

Pride

June is a busy month, and includes opportunities to make sure that we are integrating culturally relevant, diverse, historic, and health-based knowlege and skills into our teaching. June includes: LGBTQSIA+ PRIDE month, World No Tobacco Day, and a number of other health observances.

I hope you take advantage of infusing your health and physical education classes with the observances, resources and opportunities listed in this newsletter as they provide a great way for our students, school staff and community to learn, be celebrated and feel cared for.
