SIA announced the winners of the “2018 Best Staffing Firms to Work For” competition during the Staffing Industry Executive Forum North America in Miami Beach, Fla. The competition was sponsored by Monster Worldwide, Inc.

The Best Staffing Firms to Work For North America winners are categorized by number of internal employees into five size groups, with grand prize winners in each group followed by a list of other firms on the list in alphabetical order. In addition, there are two UK categories: 10 to 50 internal employees and 51-plus internal employees, with a grand prize winner in each. There is also a category for “Best Staffing Firms to Temp For” in North America. For this contest (for external workers), there was a top winner, but all firms with a Net Promoter Score of 50 or more were finalist winners.

“The winners on this year’s Best Staffing Firms to Work For list are committed to creating an environment that helps their workers reach their potential, professionally and personally,” said Subadhra Sriram, editor and publisher, media products, at SIA. “Gone are the days when it was just about careers and 80-hour weeks. Staffing firms must adopt a holistic approach that extends to the home. The successful staffing firms are those that allow employees to take off early to watch their kid’s baseball game or be there for a piano recital.”

This year, 208 staffing firms registered for the program, which, as in previous years, was conducted for Staffing Industry Analysts by Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, Neb.-based company.
