Teitler earns four regional Emmy Award nominations

Film professor Jeffrey Teitler, in collaboration with Hartford HealthCare and Medscape, received four Boston-New England Emmy Award nominations on April 20.

Teitler’s films garnered nominations in four award categories as follows:

“State of Emergency - The No Judgment Zone” - Health/Medical Short Form Content

“Len Jacobs, MD - Stop the Bleed” - Historical/Cultural – Short Form Content

“Neighborhood Health” - Video Essayist

“GSW Women” - Best Original Musical Score

Focusing on healthcare, public health, and the arts, Teitler’s films and documentaries are regularly published in Medscape and presented in film festivals nationwide. Currently producing at Hartford HealthCare, other films have been presented for the Centers for Disease Control, the United Nations, other national institutes. In 2022, Teitler won a Boston-New England Emmy Award for his short film “COVIDLAND.”

The 46th Boston/New England Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on June 10.
