Friday Rainfall Forecast

While some might call today the perfect day because all you need is a light jacket, you will need a raincoat throughout the next couple of days. Multiple rounds of showers and a few thunderstorms are expected with cumulative rainfall totals of 1-2" through Sunday.

Two rounds of rain are expected from early Friday morning through Friday night. The first round will move from southwest MN to the northeast/through western WI through Friday morning. There will be a lull during the afternoon with additional rainfall for all expected overnight and a few thunderstorms possible across southern Minnesota. Breezy conditions will continue with gusts of 30-35 MPH possible.
