Cancer Center San Mateo

UCSF Cancer Center San Mateo provides compassionate, advanced care to patients on the Peninsula. Our team treats all forms of cancer, with a special focus on blood cancers such as lymphoma, as well as lung, breast, gastrointestinal, genital and urinary system cancers. We also offer genetic testing and counseling. Genetic counselors can provide personalized recommendations to reduce your cancer risk, including guidance on cancer screening and preventive measures.

Patients can get lab services at our Cancer Center Redwood City, conveniently located just 15 minutes away. Orders from a UCSF Health provider are required.

For patients with breast cancer or benign breast conditions, our comprehensive breast program provides evaluation and diagnosis, along with breast surgery and the latest minimally invasive techniques, such as ultrasound-guided and fine needle aspiration biopsies. We also offer screening mammography at our nearby San Mateo Primary & Specialty Care Clinic.

We are proud to be part of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. This renowned center was the first in the Bay Area to receive the National Cancer Institute's prestigious "comprehensive" designation.

We offer a convenient location and easy parking, as well as streamlined access to UCSF specialists and clinical trials, as needed. Our facility includes an area for infusion therapy and a pharmacy.
