The place was clean, sound was amazing. Me and my brothers didn’t think it was going too big such a big project. We were amazed by the quality of the commentators and the size of the screens!
This event was wonderfully produced. It kept my attention and the excitement and passion for the game and the community was palpable. The only real improvement I would make is to have greater merchandizing sales. Perhaps team merchandise or something so that the community has a greater opportunity to show their support.
Walking into the arena was a disaster. First, I knew the bag rule and chose to carry a small bag for my phone and wallet and was told it was too big to bring in yet my sister in law was let in with the same size bag and the people in front of us had a BACKPACK. Then we wanted to bring signs in the next day after we saw sooo many the day before and ended up having to throw ours away because they were too big even though they were medium sized and there were others that brought in FULL SIZE posters in front of us. Seating was confusing and no one knew where we could go because our row and section was full apparently when we got there. We had been sitting in the same seats for the first half of the event and then were told the second half that we couldn’t sit there and had to move. I had to go to a far door to get my sister in law because they wouldn’t even let me in to get her. We were told the morning shift security wasn’t given correct guidance but not to worry because night shift was there to handle it. It was so ridiculous and made the time there miserable having to deal with a security team that seemingly did not communicate at all. The seats were tiny, I am 5’11 and my knees were sore from pressing into the seats in front of me all day.

I enjoyed the ease of getting in as long as you had your ticket and vaccine card, the staff was friendly, and it was easy to grab seats and look around. I'm hoping more esports events come to the pnc arena!
I’m a huge lover of apex and the event itself was wonderfully planned. The stage was nicely set and it was surreal actually seeing the players I’ve been watching for so long through a screen in person. However, the venue was less than ideal. I’m almost 6’0” and the seats were incredibly uncomfortable. Maybe it was just cause I’m tall that they felt really small. Also, the price of the food was ridiculous… $14 for a 4 piece tender, absolutely not. The “line” to get in was super unorganized. You could legit have had a general admission ticket and still sit in premium lol because they checked tickets at the door and there was no assigned seating (which I didn’t mind). Besides that, I did get to meet my fav streamer so that was cool. Overall though, I’d probably sit out next year unless they have a different venue. I couldn’t take the tiny seats but for a few hours.
The whole event was fantastic. Would love a jersey store though
The arena stage was a sight to behold....the seating was more than adequate. Great sound and atmosphere. My only gripe was there wasn't more attention given to the opportunity for autographs for fans. No set places or schedules. EVEN worse, I was specifically targeted and denied entry for simply bringing a keyboard and mouse/mousepad that I wanted autographed. Afterwards, during the event, I saw plenty of people violating the same rules I was abiding by. I saw people with big backpacks, mousepads, even a tablet. Humungous body pillows, too. I don't think I was treated fairly in that respect.
So glad thia finally came to Raleigh NC. But oh so confusing to get in. It wasn't unt after we paid for parking that we found ound that we needed our proof of vaccination. The stadium doesn’t require it but this event did. Which is fine but you can only fi d it if you look at the small print. So had to get tested for no reason. Once inside. It was great
