In 2019, North Valley created the Job Shadow Program. This program placed North Valley students at a partner site for a 4-hour placement. Students were then introduced to career and job experiences correlating to their North Valley course(s). We are so excited to be offering this experience again to students and are looking for partner sites to host North Valley students!  If you would willing to share your time and career experiences with a North Valley student for a 4-hour placement, please complete the survey below. Thank you for your time and always feel free to contact me at jayce.schumacher@northvalleyctc.org or 701-520-3455. This opportunity is made possible with support from your local JDA, ED, & CTE.

* 6. Did you know it is not too early to start thinking about bringing an intern into your business/organization for the summer?  Or that you can be partially reimbursed for your commitment?  In the summer of 2021, North Valley placed 33 internship students in local businesses and organizations. Students were required to intern a minimum of 75 hours to receive a 1/2 credit and 150 internship hours to receive a full credit.  Employers were reimbursed $375 for students that served the 75 hours.  We would love to connect you with a student.  Let us know if you are interested in hosting an internship student this summer and proving someone an opportunity to become familiar with your business/organization while they learn.
