Important Note: The purpose of this detailed listing is to help you plan your scholarship search throughout the year. Please find information below about scholarships for Florida students. Some of the deadlines may be from prior years. Scholarship deadlines are cyclical, so even if a deadline has passed, the website will likely be updated for the 2023-24 cycle. Be sure to reach out to the sponsor or check sponsor websites for the most recent details.

January

gives $1000 each year to high school seniors who are interested in teaching but have financial needs.The minimum score for SAT is 1,000 or above and an ACT score of 22 or above. Students must also have a 2.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is January 20th. More info here.

This is for $1000. This is given to students who are seeking higher education. Students need to visit their local participating Ford Truck dealer.The deadline to apply is January 12th. Read more here.

This gives a $2000 award to support graduating high school seniors with their college education. Applicants must have a 3.4 GPA, plan to attend college/university, be a citizen, and be a resident of one of the following states where we currently have participating InspirASIAN chapters. This gives an $1000 award to  students who have worked to advance racial equity in their communities. The deadline to apply is January 31st. Learn more here.

This awards $10,000 per year to disadvantaged African American/Black students that exemplify academic success and have an interest in global citizenship, public service, business entrepreneurship, or community engagement. Applicants must be graduating seniors, and identify as African American or Black. The deadline to apply is January 9th. More details here.

This awards students $7,500 per year to those that show leadership, community service, and financial need. Applicants must be graduating high school, intend to enroll into a four year college/university, display the qualities above, and have a minimum SAT score of 1000 or ACT score of 22. February

This awards $1,000 to 25 Florida high school seniors who demonstrate academic and artistic excellence in creative writing, dance, drama, music or the visual arts. Students must also write a brief essay explaining “how the arts have positively influenced my life” and a portfolio of works. The deadline to apply is February 1st. Learn more here.

This offers an average of $12,500 to high school seniors attending school in Palm Beach County. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is February 1st. More info here.

This gives $5000 to students who are deserving in college and pursuing regular faculty and curriculum. High school senior applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, college applicants must have at least 2.75 GPA, and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The application deadline is February 5th. This covers the remaining costs of attending university for 4 years. This is available to first generation college female students. Applicants must be a Florida resident applying to a 4-year public in state university. The deadline to apply is February 14th. Read more here.

This offers awards up to $6000 to help dependents or descendants of workers who were injured or killed in the course of their employment and who received benefits under the Florida Workers’ Compensation Law. High school seniors must have 2.7 G.P.A. and college applicants must have 3.0 G.P.A. and at least 12 credits each semester. The deadline to apply is February 28th. More details here.

This offers awards up to $12,500 to high school seniors attending school in Palm Beach County or select Broward County schools. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is February 1st. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $10,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need and have a 2.5 GPA. The deadline to apply is February 28th. Learn more here.

This awards students $2,500 to those interested in the law, financial planning, charitable giving, investment advisory, accounting, or life insurance. Applicants must be graduating from a high school in Palm Beach County, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, an interest in the subject areas listed, and a background in those areas. This offers awards up to $1000 to students in Miami-Dade or Broward County High School. Applicants need to have a 3.0 G.P.A. and demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is February 19th. More details here.

This offers awards up to $3000 to support dependent sons or daughters of a full- or part-time employee of Simon Property Group. To be eligible, applicants must be 23 years old or younger and planning to enroll in full time 2 or 4 years college. The deadline to apply is February 15th. Learn more here.

This gives awards up to $4900 to LGBTQ high school seniors who attend high school in Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Lake, Sumter, or Brevard Counties in the State of Florida. Applicants must plan to attend a 4 year college/university. The deadline to apply is February 14th. Read more here.

This is up to $16,000 to students attending University of South Florida. Applicants must have a 4.0 GPA, a 1340+ on SAT or 29+ on ACT. The deadline to apply is February 15th. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $20,000 to students attending University of South Florida. The requirements  needed is a 4.30+ gpa and 1430+ SAT or 32+ ACT. The deadline to apply is February 15th. More details here.

This  awards students $5,000 per year to those interested in studying environmental studies. Applicants must be involved in environmental projects, be graduating from a high school in Palm Beach County, and must maintain a 3.0 to maintain your eligibility. This awards $1,000 to students that are interested in the field of journalism or communications. Applicants must be graduating from a high school in Palm Beach County, be interested in the subject areas above, and submit a written essay. The deadline to apply is February 6th. More details here.

This offers various awards to immigrant students that are pursuing their undergraduate degree. Applicants must be an immigrant graduating from a high school in Palm Beach or Martin County and display financial need. The deadline to apply is February 6th. More details here.

This grants students various awards to those interested in the field of engineering. Applicants must be graduating high school, have obtained minimum test scores for SAT or ACT, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, enroll in an ABET program, and submit AP, IB and AICE test scores along with a transcript. The deadline to apply is February 12th. More details here.

This grants female students various awards ranging from $1,000 – $5,000 to those interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity or anything related. Applicants must have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.3, be a graduating senior, and enroll full or part time into a college/university, submit a written essay, transcript, recommendation letter, and resume. This offers awards up to $4000 to high school seniors at Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Fort Myers, Florida that are interested in pursuing a career in neuroscience or related fields. Students need to demonstrate good academic, volunteer hours and  extracurricular activities. The deadline to apply is February 21st. More info here.

awards students $400 to those that identify with the Catholic faith and are first in their family to attend higher education. Applicants must reside within the counties listed, graduate from a private/public/Catholic/homeschool located in Diocese of Venice, submit a written essay along with a Parish Affirmation form, be accepted into a college/university, and have a background in extracurriculars. This awards students of Hispanic descent $500 – $5,000  to those who are pursuing higher education. Applicants must have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.0, enroll in a college/university full time, and submit a FAFSA application. The deadline to apply is February 15th. More details here.

This gives $2500 to eligible Florida residents that are U.S citizens. This will provide financial assistance to those individuals interested in pursuing a career in welding engineering. Students may be enrolled full or part time. The minimum age of 18 and GPA of 2.5 is required. The deadline to apply is February 15th. Learn more here.

March

This gives an average of $4,200 to outstanding high school volunteers at both the Aspinwall and the Highland Park facilities of the Veterans Administration Hospital. Applicants must have a minimum of 100 volunteer hours at the Veterans Administration Hospital, proof of financial need, and a minimum 2.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is March 30th. More details here.

This gives $1500 to students attending a college/university in the US. Preference will be given to students who are residents of North Port, Port Charlotte, Englewood or Venice, Florida. Applicants will need to demonstrate horticulture ability as well as interest and potential in horticulture. The deadline to apply is March 31st. Read more here.

This offers awards up to $2000 for former players to obtain a college education. Applicants must have played in a Dixie Youth Baseball franchised league, before age 13. Factors such as financial need, scholastic record and citizenship are also weighted. The deadline to apply is March 1st. Read more here.

This offers $10,000 to high school seniors who are facing financial challenges. Students must be a US citizen or permanent resident and financially challenged.  The residents cannot be of Utah or be attending a Utah post-secondary institution. This offers awards up to $10,000 as last dollar scholarship to 4 year scholarships to public Florida Universities or Colleges High School students in Boca & Delray. To be eligible, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA, 100 hours of community service in high school, proof of financial assistance, attended one of the partner high schools, and will be attending a Florida college or university. This offers awards up to $8000 to increase the number of women earning information technology and engineering degrees. Applicants must be female high school seniors residing in Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach Counties and that will be majoring in engineering or technology field. The deadline to apply is March 19th. This offers awards up to $2000 for students who are pursuing health related fields. Students must be US citizens residing in Manatee County who are enrolled or plan to attend 2 or 4 year college or university with 2.5 gpa. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Thisoffers awards up to $3000 to residents of Sarasota County, Florida who have been out of high school for three or more years and want to continue higher education but are facing financial difficulties. The deadline to apply is March 17th. More information here.

This offers awards up to $3000 to students residing  in Sarasota County, Florida. Applicants need to demonstrate community service and have a GPA of 3.2. The deadline to apply is March 13th. More details here.

This offers awards up to $3500 to high school seniors who have shown good academic, leadership and service in the community. To be eligible, applicants must legally reside in required regions, have outstanding academic achievement records, and have a positive attitude in college work. The deadline to apply is March 26th. This offers awards up to $10,000 to help Pen Air student members pursue a college education. To be eligible, applicants must be a high school senior and primary member of Pen Air Federal Credit Union. A minimum of 2.0 G.P.A is required, and may not apply for additional scholarships. This offers awards up to $7000 to high school senior or associate degree students residing at Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte or DeSoto counties. Applicants must be planning to pursue a Bachelor’s degree from college/university on a full-time basis. Students need to demonstrate financial need and a 3.0 GPA. The deadline to apply is March 25th. This offers awards up to $3000 in music education scholarship to 10th-12th grade music students who reside in Sarasota or Manatee County. Applicants are required to perform a minimum of 2 pieces of music with contrasting styles from different periods. The deadline to apply is March 31st. More details here.

This offers awards up to $20,000 for undergraduate studies at Public studies in Florida, to help high-achieving students with financial need. The requirements are 3.0+ GPA, attend high school in these counties in the Tampa Bay area of Florida: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco. The deadline to apply is March 2nd. Read more here.

This Offers award up to 41000 to students under 21 years of age, about to attend their first year of higher education, and who meet the height requirements of TCI— 5′ 10″ (178 cm) for women, and 6′ 2″ (188 cm) for men. The deadline to apply is March 1st. Learn more here

This offers over $40,000 to Seminole County Public Schools graduates. All graduating seniors from a high school of Seminole County Public Schools are eligible to apply. Requirements vary depending on schools. The deadline to apply is March 27th. Learn more here.

This gives up to $1500 to students pursuing an education in jazz studies. Students must be Florida residents and demonstrate financial need. The deadline to apply is March 2nd. More info here.

This offers $5000 awards to high school seniors who live in states with regional branches and will attend college in the US. Offers $3500 to college freshmen, sophomores or juniors who live and attend college in states with region branches. Deadline to apply is March 31st. Learn more here

This offers awards up to $1000 to encourage women to pursue careers supporting U.S. national security with a focus on defense or foreign policy. The Requirements  are students must be enrolled or expected to be enrolled in college or university, demonstrate financial need, and 3.25 GPA, and be a citizen of the US. This awards students $500 to those interested in the fields of community service or sales. Applicants must submit their resume and a written essay. The deadline to apply is March 15th. More details here. 

This awards students $2,000 to those involved with social justice within their communities. Applicants must be involved within their communities, applied to a college/university, and submit a recommendation letter. The deadline to apply is March 31st. More details here.

This awards students with $6,400 to those that have a background in community service and extracurriculars, display academic success, qualities of leadership, and are of Portuguese descent. Applicants must reside in Florida, have a parent participating in Portuguese Cultural Organizations, and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years. April

This gives an $1,000 award for Florida students majoring in education. A GPA of 3.5 or above and a commitment to the Rotary creed of Service Above Self will be an ideal candidate. The purpose is to level the playing field for future generations of educators in Florida. The application deadline is April 28th. More info here.

This offers awards up to $1000 to students planning on majoring in education and must be attending high school in the state of Florida. To be eligible a 3.5 GPA with financial need is required to apply. The deadline for the application is April 15th. Learn more here.

offers $7500 to high school seniors who have a first responder parent(s) to show the program’s appreciation to the hard work of the first responders. Students who live in a participating state must enter their local ESA Chapter awards to become eligible for the overall national awards. The deadline to apply is April 14th. Learn more here.

This offers African American and Black graduating high school seniors an award that ranges from $2,500 – $20,000. This will help students pursue an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. A requirement of constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. This offers awards according to placement, 1st Place – $2,000; 2nd Place – $1,500; 3rd Place – $1,250 to African American high school juniors and seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. A requirement of  constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member is a must. This gives a $5000 award to African American graduating high school seniors who are pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in performing arts. This offer awards of $2,500, $2,000, $1,500 and  $1,000 to high school seniors or students in the first 3 years of college who are interested in the studies of jazz music. Applicants must be residents of Florida,  attend or plan to attend a college in Central Florida. This offers awards up to $500 to local high school seniors living in Coral Springs or attending a Coral Springs high school, or have interest in art craft or their parents are members of the craft guild. The deadline to apply is April 23rd.  Read more here.

This offers awards up to $2000 as financial assistance to eligible students of Hispanic origin who will attend Florida institutions. Applicants must be high school seniors,  a Florida resident, and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. This offers awards up to $2000 to high school seniors planning to major in theater in the SETC region. The deadline to apply is April 1st. Learn more here.

This awards students $2,500 to those that reside within the counties of Orange, Seminole, or Osceola who plan to attend University of Central Florida. Applicants must have obtained a GPA of 3.2 or higher, reside within the counties listed, have an SAT score of at least 1210 or an ACT score of 25, and have a background in community service. This scholarship is renewable for four years if the GPA above is maintained. The deadline to apply is April 27th. More details here.

This offers awards up to $1000 to high school seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architecture within Central Florida. Students must be a senior from  Orange, Osceola, or Seminole counties. The deadline to apply is April 30th. More info here.

This offers awards up to $2000 to students diagnosed with cancer before age of 21 and wish to achieve their high education. Applicants must be permanent residents of one of the following counties: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, or Union. This awards students interested in the water industries $2,500 to those that have a background in work and community service, display academic success, leadership and determination. Applicants must be graduating high school and enrolled into a Florida college/university with the intention to study water related industries, have obtained a minimum GPA of 2.5, and submit a transcript along with two recommendation letters. This offers awards up to $1000 to Florida high school students for higher education in green building. Students must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States and a resident of Florida that are attending Florida University or College. The deadline to apply is April 30th. Learn more here.

This is open to high school seniors who are planning to study the arts or to students that are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. The scholarship amount varies and students must reside in Captiva, Sanibel, or anywhere in Lee County, or are currently/previously employed in Captiva or Sanibel. The deadline is April 22nd. This is for students who want to pursue careers in health care or first responder fields to help support the increased demands of the growing senior population. Priority is given to students living in South Florida. The amount varies and the deadline to apply is April 27th. More details here.

May

This offers a one-time award of up to $5,000 for spouses of active-duty service members to help scholars support their family and pursue career aspirations. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college or university. The deadline to apply is May 4th. Read more here.

This offers awards up to $1000 to students residing in Duval County or any area of Jacksonville. Applicants must be pursuing degrees in city planning, urban studies, public administration or related fields. The deadline to apply is May 21st. Learn more here.

This offers awards up to $3000 scholarships to outstanding students residing in Florida who demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to entrepreneurship. The application deadline is May 31st. More info here.

This offers awards up to $500 to high school seniors in Central Florida who are pursuing 4 year studies. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have a 2.75 GPA. The deadline to apply is May 15th. More details here.

This offers awards up to $1000 to students who have an interest in pursuing an ocean or a marine related topic area in their college education. Applicants must participate in the NOSB at least once during their high school career. A career goal in the ocean sciences or a marine-related field is required. The deadline to apply is May 25th. This offers awards up to $1000 to Florida high school students for higher education in green building. Students must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States and a resident of Florida that are attending Florida University or College. The deadline to apply is May 6th. Learn more here.

 

This awards students with $6,400 to those that have a background in community service and extracurriculars, display academic success, qualities of leadership, and are of Portuguese descent. Applicants must reside in Florida, have a parent participating in Portuguese Cultural Organizations, and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years. June

This awards students $500 – $1,000 to those having interest in the performing arts. Applicants must be residents of Central Florida, be within the ages of 16 – 24, display financial need, be involved with the performing arts or the LGBTQ+ community, and submit a written essay. This awards students $1,200 per year to those that are eligible for the Pell Grant and display academic success and financial need. Applicants must reside within Pinellas County, have obtained a minimum GPA of 2.5, and intend to enroll in a college/university. The deadline to apply is June 17th. More details here.

This offers various awards to students that have had their parents injured or deceased due to a workplace incident/accident and have received compensation. Applicants must be a resident of Florida, accepted into a college/university or trade school, and have a parent being compensated for a workplace accident. The deadline to apply is June 30th. This grants varying awards to students of Korean descent. Applicants must enroll as a full time student, have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.0, and display financial need. The deadline to apply is June 30th. More details here.

This awards $1,000 to students who are passionate about wildlife conservation. Applicants must have an interest in preserving wildlife and their resources or fisheries. This scholarship also awards students interested in law enforcement. The deadline to apply is July 1st. More details here.

This is up to $20,000. This is available to Hispanic/Latino descent students to help them continue their education. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and are pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. They must be  residents of one of the counties: Duval, Baker, St. Johns, Clay or Nassau. This gives awards up to $5,000 to support students who are active volunteers in their local communities and are attending a College/University. Applicants must provide volunteer service in their local community, be a resident of Florida, Georgia or Louisiana, and have a 2.75 GPA. The deadline to apply is July 31st. More details here.

This offers awards up to $20,000 in cash to high school students who make the best prom attire out of duct tape. The deadline to apply is July 19th. Learn more here

This offers awards up to $2000 to college students who reside in Sarasota or Manatee County, Florida, who are majoring in film, computer animation, creative writing, motion design, illustration. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 2.75. The deadline to apply is July 31st. Learn more here.

August

This gives awards up to $2,000 to high school seniors who enroll in College or University in the US. This helps influence potential young people to become the leader in the community. To be considered, you must be 18 years or older, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and is a legal resident in the required states. The deadline to apply is August 1st. Read more here.

This offers financial aid covering 75% to 100% tuition. This is open to high school seniors for high academic achievement. Students must be Florida residents and a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Students must also enroll as an undergraduate student at an eligible Florida postsecondary with a minimum of 6 non-remedial semester hours. The deadline is August 31st. Learn more here.

September

This awards students full tuition and other mandatory fees to those that display academic success, qualities of leadership, and have a background in community service and extracurriculars. Applicants must have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.7, enroll full time in a college/university, graduate class of 2023, and demonstrate the qualities above. The deadline to apply is September 8th. This gives $2500 to eligible Florida residents that are U.S or Canada citizens who are interested in pursuing a career in welding engineering. The minimum age of 18, a GPA of 2.8, and a 3.0 in engineering is required. The deadline to apply is September 1st. Read more here.

October

This offers awards up to $500 to students who reside in Miami Dade County, FL and are pursuing an undergraduate degree in political science, history, economic, sociology, international relation or public administration. Applicants must also attend a regional college/university in Miami Dade County, FL. The deadline to apply is October 16th. Learn more here.

This grants students various awards ranging from $1,000 – $10,000 to those that have participated in a sport(s) for at least a year in high school. Applicants must have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.0, be graduating class of 2023, display leadership, and have a background in community service. November

This offers awards up to $11,000 based on high performance in academic coursework of the students that are outside of the state. The deadline to apply is November 1st. More details here.

This gives awards up to $40,000 to students in the University of Florida with high achievement in academics. The deadline is November 16th. Learn more here.

This awards students up to $55,000 each year to those that display academic excellence and financial need. Applicants must be graduating class of 2023, enroll in a college/university for fall 2023, have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.5, and have a familial income of $95,000 or less. December

This gives 4 scholarships of $1000 each to full or part time students in Martin County who are pursuing vocational certificate/college degree in areas related to horticulture. The deadline to apply is December 1st. More information here.

This awards students $5,000 per year to those that display academic success, determination, and leadership. Applicants must be graduating seniors and enroll full time into a college/university. Please note that if chosen, students may have to submit pictures and information pertaining to their successes for the purpose of promotion. The deadline to apply is December 17th. This covers 75% of the tuition and fees with book stipend. To be considered, applicants must have a  4.0 GPA, a 1280 SAT or 27 ACT, and be a newly admitted FIU first year student. The deadline to apply is December 4th. More details here.]
