P.A.V.E
P.A.V.E's goal is to empower students to PAVE their own pathway by providing resources to underserved Asian/Pacific Islander youth about different educational pathways and facilitating dialogues about what it means to be an Asian/Pacific Islander pursuing post-secondary education.
Their workshops will center on social issues that the Asian Pacific Islander community faces in education, and their panelists for post-secondary pathways (community college and trade school) will be there to answer questions about their respective pathway and share their story of pursuing that route.
When and where is PAVE?
PAVE will be hosted on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two weeks in March: the 9th, 11th, 16th, and 18th from 6-7:30pm each day. Due to COVID-19, this event will be entirely remote.
Who should come?
PAVE is open to high school students from all across California, but please note that the content will be centered around the Asian/Pacific Islander narrative. The RSVP link is tinyurl.com/PAVESP21.
