Paws for PRIDE
Congratulations to last week’s Paws for PRIDE winners: Ellie K, Mr. Michener, Genevieve P, Naina R, Aria W, Brady S, Elijah S, Charlotte W, and Mrs. Gillen’s AM Kindergarten class.
Students, classes, and teachers are chosen at random to be recognized and celebrated for demonstrating one of our five character traits - Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination & Empathy. Thank you to all of the Titus families for your support of our Paws for PRIDE program.
PSSA Time!
Grades 3-6 will be participating in our state-wide PSSA tests starting on April15th. The following is our testing schedule here at Titus, with all testing happening in the morning:
- English/Language Arts – April 15th, 16th, 17th
- Math – April 29th & 30th
- Science (4th grade only) – May 1st & 2nd
The best way to prepare for these assessments is to get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast. If anyone is absent during a testing day, the makeup test will be administered upon the student’s return. If you have any questions regarding any of the testing please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Horan.

Congrats Reading Olympians
Each year, the Bucks County Intermediate Unit encourages children all across Bucks County to read and discover the joy of talking about the books they read! Using a team format, students get to share what they have read with their friends all through the school year. This year, 52 fifth and sixth grade students gave up numerous recess days over the past several months to work with their team in preparation for this event! Four individual teams had the responsibility of reading 45 titles!!
On April 4th, these Titus students went to Bridge Valley Elementary School and participated in a challenge with several other CB schools and nearby schools from other districts. We are happy to report that ALL FOUR TEAMS earned blue ribbons for their accomplishments. They celebrated their victory with a pizza lunch and award ceremony.
We are very proud of all our Titus students and look forward to next year’s competition!
Science Fun Day
Science Fun Day is quickly approaching and we need your help! It takes a large variety of items and supplies to make the day a true success. Please consider donating an item or items needed for Science Fun Day.
To help us keep track of the items we have and those we still need, we ask that all parents utilize our on-line system for keeping track of our donations. To see what we need, please click here. Please send in your donation(s) - labeled "Science Fun Day."
Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated! Any questions or concerns can be directly forwarded to Miss Kim Anderson.
And the Winner Is . . .
Ryan Frey has remained consistent in logging his miles and good deeds, and his hard work paid off! He took home this week's raffle prize and looks forward to having his "supporters" try out his new swing. Great job, Ryan!
Bryce Harper Jersey Raffle
iRun4Life is supporting the Travis Manion Foundation this season, and we have an exciting opportunity for the entire Titus Community! If you make a donation through our personal fundraising link by the 7th inning stretch of Sunday's Phillies game, you will be entered to win this brand new Bryce Harper jersey (Adult Large) and TMF t-shirt (Youth size; design may vary based on size). No donation is too big or too small. We will announce the winner at the end of Sunday's game. Good Luck!
