2024-2025 School Year
Just a reminder that registration for aftercare for the 2024-2025 begins on July 22nd. Please mark your calendars. If you are returning to Sea Park, your reenrollment on Focus will be available after July 8th. As part of our ongoing improvement process, the District has reviewed our annual enrollment process.
The following changes to are highlighted below.
1. Simplified and condensed the amount of information being collected while ensuring that critical information is embedded in one process.
2.Pre-populated information on sections that have already been provided to the District.
3.Eliminated the need of two proofs of residence verification.
4.Change of timeline from March to July.
5. Modified language to make it more parent friendly.
6.Reduced signatures from 11 to ONLY 1!
7.Added a ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION form to assist schools with enrollment numbers. At this time, your ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION is required. We ask that you take a few minutes to complete this process by logging on to your FOCUS account. The Annual Re-enrollment form will be available on July 8, 2024. All enrollment documents may be found under your childβs name in the forms summary section. Should you need any assistance with this process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
End of Year Checklist
Parents, if you could help us get books back to the library and pick up any medication by 5/24. This will help as we close our school year out for summer.
All Hands on Deck!
Calling all Dads, Moms, and Great Lifters!!! In order to get our school ready for the remodeling, we need help on SATURDAY, May 25th from 8:00-12:00 PM. We are moving all the teacher boxes to either the PODS, or the Cafeteria! The more hands the better! We will feed you for your time! Please let your child's teacher or the front office know you will be here to help!! We cannot do this without your assistance!!
Summer Reading Program
This summer, students will be challenged to read 20 minutes a day, at least 4 days a week. Students will be asked to record minutes and title read in Beanstack. Beanstack can be found on their launchpad. 1st digital badge will be earned at 20 minutes, 2nd digital badge will be earned at 40 minutes and the following badges will be earned for each hour of reading. Students must earn 15 badges to complete the challenge in Beanstack.
