Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations helps corporations and foundations design strategic partnerships with Seattle University that create mutually beneficial relationships and results. These wide-ranging collaborations include philanthropic giving opportunities (such as scholarships and capital improvements), employee recruitment, research alliances and continuing education. We identify partnership opportunities and makes introductions to university faculty and leadership. Seattle University depends on funding from corporations and foundations as it strives to fulfill its mission and commitment to academic excellence, through the university's outstanding student body, faculty and programs.

  • Corporations and foundations can help ensure the development of an educated workforce.

Seattle University is committed to sustaining a diverse and talented student body. Financial aid, scholarship and fellowship support enhance Seattle University's ability to attract and enroll exceptional undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of their financial circumstances. Nearly 80 percent of current Seattle University students receive some type of financial assistance to pay for tuition. Increased aid creates more opportunities for deserving students to achieve their academic and career goals.

  • Corporations and foundations can establish valuable relationships with leading scholars and researchers.

Seattle University aims to pursue critical resources to retain its current gifted faculty and to seek out distinguished educators to build upon the work of predecessors. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations links faculty with corporations and foundations, creating and strengthening strategic alliances that support faculty research and teaching, and provide funders with access to research that addresses today's issues. Knowledge gained through these partnerships will benefit both the institution and the university and enhance the Seattle University community's understanding of corporations' and foundations' strategic goals and missions.
