Sankofa Celebration 2024

On Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 02:10 PM

Location: QPAC Theatre

We cordially invite you to QCC's second annual Sankofa Celebration. The term Sankofa originates in the Akan tribe of Ghana. It is a word, a symbol, and a way of life steeped in reverence for the past and the future. Sankofa reminds us to look back, as we need to know our history so that we can look forward, to understand, and chart our paths going into the future. Our celebration intends to honor our ancestry, revel in our achievements, and to build legacies. The event is made possible by the generous support of The QCC Incubator, The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA), the Student Government Association (SGA), and the Black Student Union (BSU).

This event is sponsored by QCC Incubator, SGA, Black Faculty and Staff Association, Black Students Union
