2024 CUNY Queens Lavender Graduation Ceremony

The 2024 CUNY Queens Lavender Graduation Ceremony will take place in The Atrium at York College. Organized by JC Carlson, LGBTQIAA+ Programs Coordinator at Queens College, all LGBTQIA+ and ally class of 2024 graduates from Queens-based CUNY institutions (Queens College, York College, Queensborough Community College, LaGuardia Community College, and CUNY School of Law) are invited to attend and will be honored.
A photographer will be available from 1:00 pm–2:00 pm to take free commemorative photos of each graduate. Additionally, lavender honor chords and certificates will be presented on stage to each graduate. Each graduate may bring up to two (2) guests. Framed photos and free rainbow tassels will be available for pick up during the reception.
QCC class of 2024 graduates (students who completed all of their degree requirements at the conclusion of fall 2023 and winter 2024, as well as those anticipated to complete them at the conclusion of spring and summer 2024) who wish to attend the ceremony MUST register online by the deadline date of Friday, May 17, 2024.
