What’s a science fair?

Science fairs give students an opportunity to individually investigate a scientific mystery or curiosity and share their discoveries.  Students may complete an individual or a team project.  They are free to pick a topic that matches their interests and abilities.  Then practice using the scientific method used by professional scientists around the world.  Go ahead and dive into a project that excites you—whether it's related to biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, or any other scientific inquiry.  We welcome simple to complex projects!  The goal is to have fun and learn!

Instructions for Students

Safety First: Projects involving potentially dangerous materials or experiments must adhere to safety guidelines. Avoid using open flames, hazardous chemicals, or live animals, explosives, projectiles, high voltages or nuclear materials without prior approval.
