BlackRock’s Larry Fink and other executives denounce racism amid protests

Amid protests over the fatal arrest of George Floyd, an unarmed black man in Minneapolis, the chief executives of several public companies have spoken out against police violence, racism, and other injustices.

“No organisation is immune from the challenges posed by racial bias,” BlackRock CEO Larry Fink wrote on LinkedIn on May 30. “As a firm committed to racial equality, we must also consider where racial disparity exists in our own organizations and not tolerate our shortcomings.”
