The blonde beauty at the center of the latest Eliot Spitzer scandal was evicted last July because her upper East Side apartment doubled as a brothel, according to court papers.

Svetlana Travis, reportedly a $5,000-a-night Russian call girl, was sent packing from the Lexington Ave. building after complaints from neighbors about the heavy traffic — all men — to her residence.

“Men were entering and leaving the apartment at approximately one-hour intervals on most afternoons,” according to Manhattan Housing Court documents.

“Upon information and belief, the apartment is being used for the purpose of prostitution … You are not utilizing the premises for solely living purposes.”

The eviction notice for her first floor apartment was approved on July 20. Other court documents filed earlier indicated that Travis was behind in her rent, and that the first complaint about the sex trade in her apartment came from a neighbor.

Travis, 25, bolted for her native Russia on Valentine’s Day after cops were summoned to her swanky room at The Plaza hotel one day earlier. Travis told police she was choked by the hooker-happy ex-governor.

EX-GOV. SPITZER PROBED FOR ASSAULTING WOMAN AT NYC HOTEL

Travis’s departure in the hours after she cut her wrists in the posh $1,000-a-night hotel room put the Spitzer investigation in limbo, with no complainant around to cooperate, police said.

The Russian native wound up in Mt. Sinai Hospital, where a man thought to be Spitzer appeared after Travis was taken there for treatment.

Spitzer’s attorney has acknowledged the “Luv Guv” was in the hotel room with Travis, but denied there was any assault or criminal activity. He went to visit her twice at the hotel on Feb. 13, both at her request, the lawyer said.

Spitzer, the married father of three daughters, was forced to resign as the state’s top executive in March 2008 after he was exposed for hiring prostitutes.

He was memorably identified in court papers as “Client 9.”
