As the leading conference for independent music and comedy venues, festivals and the promoter industry, NIVA ‘24 brings the live entertainment community together to The Big Easy to support, educate, and connect industry leaders across the United States.
Conference programming includes an array of sessions addressing current issues affecting the live entertainment field, spanning marketing, ticketing, safety, and advocacy. Evening events will be held at iconic independent New Orleans venues with live shows featuring legends like George Porter Jr. & Runnin Pardners and Rebirth Brass Band.

The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) is the national trade association representing thousands of independent live entertainment venues, festivals, promoters, and more. NIVA works to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of live entertainment. NIVA empowers members and their teams with member benefits and advocacy on the state and federal level, an annual industry-leading conference, and more.
The National Independent Venue Association is committed to equity in our support and advocacy for independent venues, and seek to create and encourage opportunities for venues, promoters, and festivals owned, operated, and staffed by people of color, women, non-binary, LGBTQ+, veterans, and people with disabilities.
