Profession

In my day to day life, I work behind the scenes dealing with inventory for an outdoor retailer.

I’ve done a lot of sports and many different jobs in my life, but rock climbing has captivated me for a long time. It continues to provide learning and growing opportunities whenever I’m out, whether it’s with a big group and we’re just having fun, or if I’m trying a really hard climb with a psyched partner.

I’m eternally grateful that climbing not only provides me with the physical activity I love but also the community of people I consider my family.

Accomplishments:

Out of all the hard outdoor climbs I’ve climbed, and all of the awards I’ve received in competitions, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as being a positive influence on other female athletes. As with many sports, it’s easy for young athletes to see success early in their career before life happens and they drift away from the sport. I’m proud of my longevity in the sport of climbing and my work ethic (or stubbornness) to continue to improve and get stronger.

Foundations

I’ve been highly involved in T Montana Mountaineering Association programs as well as the Inge Perkins Scholarship Fund.
