Donalyn Miller: Joy of Reading

While motivation and engagement remain important factors influencing young people's reading development, prioritizing joyful reading eludes many school communities. Why does reading enjoyment matter? What attitudes and conditions foster joy? In this workshop, Donalyn Miller will frame the importance of reading joy and share practical ideas and current resources. Registration is 8:30-9:00. Lunch is included.
