LiNC - Librarian Networking Collective

Have you ever wished you could have more conversations with other school librarians? Have you looked for a supportive community to share the challenges and joys of being a school librarian at your grade level? Do you want to talk to your colleagues that "get it”?

This group is for you!

In LiNC, you will be among friends. We will foster a supportive, collaborative, joyful community of school librarians in Monroe One and 2 BOCES and the Genesee Valley BOCES regions. Throughout this twenty-week Schoology course, some discussions will be K-12 and others will be split by grade level. We will also host periodic Zoom meetings where we can put faces to names and have live discussions.

This work will be asynchronous, with weekly discussions and resources posted by the facilitators, as well as opportunities for you to set the topic. Each week should take only about a half hour, so you have the opportunity to earn a half credit of CTLE per week. You can participate as much or as little as you would like, and credits will be granted based upon how much you choose to participate. Since capacity varies throughout the year, we understand and expect that not everyone will be able to join in every discussion. We hope this will be a place to share advice and resources, to ask questions, to validate your experiences, and to learn from each other.

The Zoom meetings will be posted separately. Disregard the date below as this will start January 16 and run until June 14.

This group is for PreK-12 School Librarians only.
