Digital Media Literacy in Action: Students as Content Creators

Much of our work in Media Literacy focuses on students as consumers of information. While this is crucial, students should also be empowered to express themselves with media they make. In this session, we will explore projects that put students in the role of media creators. We will also talk about building in reflection and critical thinking to infuse both Media Literacy and SEL components in student work.
