Class Schedule Builder (Use Chrome)

1. Select a term.
2. Select a subject.
Select a term
3. Filter courses.

If this option is checked, full classes will be shown along with open classes.

If this option is checked, classes that meet at times when you are busy will be shown.

If this option is checked, classes for which you need special permission to register will be shown.

If this option is checked, classes that have some online meetings will be shown.

If this option is checked, classes that are not entirely online will be hidden.

If this option is checked, "special session" and "short course" classes will be shown.

If this option is checked, classes with course numbers in the 100 and 200 range will be shown.

If this option is not checked, classes with course numbers in the 300 and 400 range will be hidden.

If this option is not checked, graduate-level courses will be hidden.

4. General Education Courses Filter

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2009-10 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2010-11 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2011-12 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2012-13 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2013-14 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2014-15 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2015-16 Bulletin will be shown.

If this option is checked, only classes that fit the General Education Requirements for the 2016-17 Bulletin will be shown.

5. Register, save and print.

Class Schedule Builder Help

  • To start using the Class Schedule Builder, make choices in section 1 and 2 (on the left).
    1. Select a term.
    2. Select a subject.
  • Optionally, fine tune your class schedule listing. Make choices in sections 3 and 4 (on the left).
    1. Filter courses.
    2. General Education Course Filter
  • Fill your calendar.
    • Click anywhere on a class for more information about it, or to place it on your calendar.
    • You can block out times that you are unavailable for classes by clicking and dragging on the calendar
  • When you have finished building your schedule use one or more of the tools in section 5 (on the right).
    1. Register, save and print.
      • Register for Classes: The registration process can take up to a minute; please be patient. If your registration window is not open, the classes will be saved to your "wish list," where you can find them later under "Review My Plan". If your registration window is open, registration will be attempted; any registration problems will be indicated.
      • Save Schedule is a way to save a link to the schedule builder with the currently chosen classes. It will update the URL address to include your course numbers, so that you can bookmark it or copy it elsewhere
      • Printable Version: Use this to download a printable version of the calendar.

Disclaimer: The class schedule builder does not guarantee class availability and it does not reserve a seat in the class. Registration is not complete until you have confirmed your registration by entering your StarID password and received a green check mark and the message "Registered" for each course.
