Lydia Gentry

Lydia joined library staff of the Middlebury Institute Library in 2019. Originally focused on circulation services, the transition to remote working and learning during the pandemic sparked an interest in digital access services. Currently, Lydia works closely with the library team in Vermont to facilitate and manage digital access points to resources for Institute students, faculty, and staff. She is also pursuing a master’s degree at San Jose State University in library and information science, specializing in emerging technologies, digital information, and library systems. 

Beyond work (and school), Lydia enjoys existing outside, whether she’s reading on the beach or exploring new trails.
