TEAS Exam

Prelicensure BSN program applicants must take most current version of the TEAS.

Students are encouraged to plan ahead as space is limited. You do not need to submit the test results with your application - but at the time of testing, you must either indicate that you will be applying to Metropolitan State University or request that your test results be sent to Metro State University.

Register to take the TEAS exam

You must register to take the TEAS. There is no limit to the number of times an applicant may take the TEAS exam. We encourage applicants to utilize review material to prepare for the TEAS exam. If you test at a non-Metro State testing site, you will need to request transcripts be sent to Metropolitan State University prior to the application deadline. You can make this request by calling ATI at 1-800-667-7531 and speaking to a Client Care Specialist. Students who request transcripts to be sent will be charged a fee from ATI.

It is Metropolitan State University's policy to provide, on an individualized basis, services to those who have disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Reasonable accommodations can be provided after appropriate documentation has been received and reviewed by the Center for Accessibility Resources. Testing accommodations are accessible at your current campus or the campus you plan to attend for the MANE program. If you choose to take the TEAS test at Metropolitan State University and require accommodations based on a professionally diagnosed and documented disability, you must submit documentation to support your request to the Center for Accessibility Resources Office. For TEAS testing accommodation requests, contact the Center for Accessibility Resources at 651-793-1549 or Accessibility.Resources@metrostate.edu. If your testing accommodation request is approved by the Center for Accessibility Resources, please contact the Department of Nursing at School.Nursing@metrostate.edu for further instructions.

Published sessions on ATI's website does not guarantee accommodations are available for that session. NOTE: A scheduled testing session for students needing accommodations will be made no sooner than 14 days after the request is received by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
