Yesterday, we kicked off our new Industry Insights program for Investor-level members! Our first session focused on banking, finance, and the capital markets, and featured Darcy Barnes of Bank of America and Trey Morsbach of JLL. Through Industry Insights, Investor-level members and higher have the chance to network with their peers and learn about a trending topic within the commercial real estate industry. As I step away from my role as CEO of The Real Estate Council (TREC) after 13 years, I reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here. Our next Young Guns About Town will follow the progress of Maple Terrace - Dallas! We last checked out this reimagined 1925 architectural gem just as construction got underway. Hines has been hard at work transforming Dallas’ first luxury high-rise into a premier destination for boutique office space, modern living, and fine dining. We’ll return on Thursday, May 23, and tour the recently completed office portion of the 3.37-acre site. Office will account for 135,000 square feet of space, along with a 22-story, 345-unit apartment high rise and 12,000 square feet of street-facing restaurant space.
