European Monitoring Commission arrives in Libya’s Tripoli at High Council of State’s request

The European High-ranking Monitoring Commission arrives Saturday in Libya’s Tripoli as per an invitation by the High Council of State (HCS), the media office of HCS has reported.

The HCS said the European commission will hold expanded meetings with the Head of the HCS, Khalid Al-Mishri, the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirraj, mayors, party leaders and other significant figures.

According to the HCS, the European commission will go on field visits to see for itself the reality of Tripoli and western areas’ offensive that was launched by Khalifa Haftar on April 04.

The European commission is made up of experts, politicians, economists, military officers, and European media outlets’ correspondents.
