The KU FUEL Mentoring experience will help
you obtain and expand the knowledge and skills you will need for a viable business future. Our unique and progressive mentoring program connects KU students with a select group of business executives, decision-makers, owners, entrepreneurs, senior directors and managers, and community leaders and influencers. Quality mentoring greatly enhances your chances for success and provides professional socialization, business networking, and personal support to facilitate success during your entire undergraduate years, graduate school and beyond.
Mentors will tailor their guidance and empowerment efforts with tailored goals and support through a structured KU FUEL environment and network that creates increased opportunities and possibilities for KU students.
- Every KU student who applies to be a member of KU FUEL, and is dedicated to the program, will receive a mentoring experience approximately every month of their college career.
- The student’s mentoring experiences will vary using different business mentors based on the student’s academic path and interests, as well as changes in majors during their undergraduate years. This offers various opinions, viewpoints, experiences, geographies, etc., as well as lifelong business connections.
- All mentors will share their contact information with the student, sparking long-term networking and advising relationships.
