How to Apply


UCF Housing offers various shared suite and apartment-style floorplans. All UCF Housing communities come with the security and convenience of 24-hour staff support, furnished rooms, all utilities included (no utility caps), Wi-Fi, individual leases, and unbeatable locations.

First-year students are given preference for housing on the Orlando main campus. Students of all classifications, from first-year to graduate students, may apply for student housing located at the Rosen College Apartments, NorthView, or one of our affiliated housing options.

1. Choose your campus and housing agreement.

Starting in Summer?

First-year students who are admitted for the Summer B semester must apply for a separate summer-only housing agreement in addition to their Fall housing agreement.

Rosen College Apartments

The Rosen College Apartments agreement includes Fall and Spring, with the option of adding Summer. For students looking to make it in the hospitality industry, Rosen College Apartments put you right in the center of Orlando’s bustling tourism industry.

2. Apply for housing online

  • Log in to my.ucf.edu
  • Navigate to Student Self Service > Housing > Housing Portal
  • Select your semester, campus, and agreement type
  • Create your profile
  • Sign the terms and conditions
  • Submit your prepayment to complete your application

3. Apply for a Living Learning Community

After applying for housing, students looking for a more focused housing experience can choose to be part of a Living Learning Community- a group of students placed together based on a common interest or academic program. Learn more here.

4. Verify your agreement status

Your housing agreement status will be updated from “submitted” to “confirmed” when we verify that we have space for you in the housing agreement you selected.  You will be able to see your housing agreement status on the Housing Portal and will receive an email when the status is updated to “confirmed.”

6. Online Room Selection

Select your room assignment online with your roommate group during the online room selection process from May through July. Your room selection appointment times are determined based on when you completed your housing application. Rooms are available on a first applied, first served basis.

7. Move-in!

Reminders

  • No student is guaranteed housing on campus, so everyone is encouraged to apply early.
  • A prepayment is required for the housing agreement to be accepted and confirmed.
  • Students can view their housing status, room and roommate information in the Housing Portal.
  • Students can make roommate requests, choose a Living Learning Community and rank priorities after completing an agreement on the Housing Portal.
  • Confirmed students who do not participate in online room selection will be assigned by housing staff to remaining available rooms.
  • Housing agreements are subject to cancellation, and any prepayments will be forfeited if the admissions enrollment deposit is not paid.
