CenterPlace Health has made three critical additions to its leadership team with the appointments of Debbie Green as chief financial officer, Lisa Gonzalez-Abello, M.D., as chief medical officer and Roseanne Gutmann as human resources director.

CenterPlace Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides high-quality, low-cost health care to Sarasota County families.

This year, the center nearly doubled its service capacity when it added two medical and dental clinics in Sarasota and Venice. All three hires will support efforts to scale services to reach even more families throughout the community.

Green joins CenterPlace Health to manage all finance-related issues, including accounting, billing, credentialing and compliance mandates.

In her new role, Gonzalez-Abello will supervise the recruitment and retention of providers and oversight of quality assurance initiatives, as well providing leadership and mentoring to the clinical staff.

Gutmann will bring a strategic approach to recruiting, leading and developing staff in order to support a positive and productive workplace culture.

Green is a certified public accountant with over three decades of accounting and finance experience. She has an extensive background in the nonprofit industry.

She graduated cum laude from the University of Buffalo with a bachelor’s in the registered accounting program.

Gonzalez-Abello previously was a primary care pediatrician at CenterPlace Health. Her experience as a medical professional at CenterPlace enables her to provide leadership and expertise for the Center’s clinical quality measures.

She received a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, a master’s in biomedical engineering and a M.D. from the University of Miami.

Gutmann has extensive experience in strategic human resource management, including leadership experience at behavioral health care organizations in Southwest Florida that provided behavioral health and addiction services for inpatient and outpatient needs, pharmacy, social services and community outreach.

She earned a bachelor’s from Clemson University and a master’s in human resources development and management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
