Korean boy band BTS have reclaimed several Guinness World Records titles following the release of their latest single "Dynamite".

The music video has subsequently become the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours as well as the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours and the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.

Debuted using YouTube’s premiere feature, the video was released at 00:00 EDT on August 21 and is the band’s first song performed entirely in English.

All the record titles broken were previously held by fellow K-pop band BLACKPINK and their song "How You Like That", which came out in June.

Before BLACKPINK, BTS's "Boy With Luv" previously held these records after its initial release in 2019.

Their latest single, "Dynamite", has charted in 30 countries and was accompanied by a later upload onto YouTube with outtakes and bloopers from the original video.

It’s been a truly record-breaking year for BTS, setting the record for fastest selling album (South Korea) with the album Map of the Soul: 7 and the most viewers for a music concert live stream with Bang Bang Con: The Live.
