Flowers for Health Care Heroes

Inspire Through Flowers is a small, all volunteer service organization that creates and delivers "Bouquets of Gratitude" to honor the frontline healthcare heroes in hospitals across Chicagoland.

ITF has an urgent need to rent heated indoor space in the winter months because we cannot continue working in our garages.  The fundraising goal will ensure that we can continue to honor our healthcare heros by delivering our Bouquets of Gratitude.

Inspire Through Flowers volunteers receive donated flowers from grocery stores and floral wholesalers around the Chicago area.

To date ITF has delivered over 2,650 “Bouquets of Gratitude” . Each bouquet also has a “Thank You” card attached, and an inspirational note written on a card inside each bouquet. The weekly cost for the arrangements and delivery is approximately $315.

Volunteers have been spending their own money to create these bouquets, delivering an average of 173 per week, to a different hospital in the greater Chicago area.

ITF has taken every precaution in light of Covid -19 to ensure the safety of their volunteers and have coordinated with recipient hospitals to maintain guidelines. All volunteers meet in small groups, in open garages, wearing masks and practice social distancing.





Raising funds for weekly supplies and transportation costs is no easy task. Despite the overwhelming generosity of our volunteers, and from our floral donors, Inspire Through Flowers cannot thrive and expand without funding.

We are grateful for any donation, big or small; every dollar will help us bring joy and a smile to our very deserving Healthcare Heroes!
