Caregivers impacted by Hurricane Ian

"Making more possible through a Higher Standard of Care isn't just a mission statement about providing care for our clients. Now, more than ever, we have to demonstrate our commitment to that mission statement as it pertains to our caregivers."
The statement above is from Jim Boone and Lisa Marie Swiatkowski, owners of BrightStarCare of Venice, FL and BrightStarCare of Port Charlotte, FL. BrightStar Care is a brand that offers in-home care to people of all ages. During Hurricane Ian, members of the BrightStar Care of Venice/Port Charlotte and BrightStar Care of Naples/Fort Myers care teams were significantly impacted.
Many nurses, caregivers and office staff have lost homes, cars, clothes and other essentials needed for day-to-day life. Some have lost everything. These same frontline heroes stayed on shift with their clients for, in some cases, 85 hours straight during the storm to ensure they did not have a gap in their care. They have gone above and beyond so that no client has gone without care and no client was lost.
We are seeking donations to help these heroes rebuild what they lost during the storm.
All proceeds will go to members of the care teams from BrightStar Care of Venice/Port Charlotte and BrightStar Care of Naples/Fort Myers that Hurricane Ian has impacted.
