Design Contractor

Role: FrontLine Farming, a nonprofit farming and food justice organization in Denver, is accepting proposals in response to this Request for Proposal (this “RFP,” or this “Request for Proposal”) in order to find a qualified source to provide fresh collateral for our overall marketing needs. Specifically, we are in need of: (1) Marketing Guides and Templates, and (2) Designed Projects listed on subsequent pages.
The objective of this Request for Proposal is to locate a source that will provide the best overall value to FrontLine Farming. While price is a significant factor, other criteria will form the basis of our award decision, as more fully described in the Evaluation Factors section of this Request for Proposal in the attached document.

Other Consdierations: The following submission guidelines & requirements apply to this Request for Proposal:

1) First and foremost, only qualified individuals or studios with prior experience on projects such as this should submit proposals in response to this Request for Proposal.
2) Bidders must list at least 3 projects that are substantially similar to this project as part of their response, including references for each. Examples of work should be provided as well.
3) Provide an overview of the proposed work as well as resumes of all key personnel performing the work. In addition, the proposal should provide a proposed schedule and milestones, as applicable, per goals and materials listed in this RFP. An estimated budget with cost per hour and estimated hours per project is recommended.
4) If you have a standard set of terms and conditions, please submit them with your proposal. All terms and conditions will be subject to negotiation.
5) Proposals must be received prior to April 26th, 2024 to be considered.
6) FrontLine Farming anticipates selecting at least two individuals or firms to have more in-depth discussions with, and will make an award to one of these “down-selected” individuals or firms by May 3rd, 2024

Farm Crew (Multiple Positions Open)

Type: Non-Exempt, Full Time, Seasonal Hourly Position

Hours: Weekend Availability during farm season, 40 hours per week

Rate: $19/hour. Plus full health and dental benefits, paid sick leave, paid professional development, and vegetables and groceries.

Start Date: April 1, 2024

Apply By: Open until filled

Role: Under the general direction of the Farm Manager, this position works in all aspects of sustainable food production. The role includes: farm site management including following crop plans, on-site volunteer coordination and guidance, crop health and pest management, and general farm duties. This position is empowered to ensure their site functions at peak production and works in companionship and collaboration with farmers and our other sites. Must be aligned with the mission of FrontLine Farming and confidently communicate about programs, services, goals and values. This space and opportunity is geared toward Black, Indigenous, People of Color and womxn.

Bilingual SNAP Outreach Coordinator

Type: Spanish/English Bilingual, Part time, Non exempt, Hourly

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Rate: $18 training wage, up to $20

Start Date: ASAP

Role: This position will assist FLF with increasing food access through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, aka Food Stamps) outreach, education and applications. This position will assist Spanish speakers with SNAP applications for FLF. This position will provide case management services related to food insecurity and basic needs in order to discuss SNAP benefits with students, including assistance with SNAP applications and follow up calls. This position will also need to work independently to identify opportunities to contact SNAP-eligible individuals. Training will be provided.
