Apprenticeship Program
Creating opportunities for students to learn about careers in agriculture

This 9-week internship supports two paid positions. It introduces high school or college-aged students to small scale production agriculture through hands-on experiences in the fields and with the livestock at Wagner Farm.
Duties Include:
• Working with horticulture staff to plant, tend to and harvest in the Farmstand vegetable field.
• Participating in the processing of vegetables and eggs for retail/wholesale opportunities.
• Taking an active role in working with the Farmers Market Manager in the Saturday morning set up and operation of the Glenview Farmers Market.
• Assisting in feeding, pen cleaning and performing medical assessments of the livestock at Wagner Farm.
