June 17th - Street Jaxkson Band
One of the hottest BLUES variety bands in the Chicagoland area. Blues, funk, rock n roll, R&B and reggae. A show band that moves the crowd dancing and engaging with guests to assure a great night of fun. In addition to the blues they mix it up with energetic dance music and cover tunes to satisfy the dancers and the listeners.
July 15th - The Mascot Theory
The Mascot Theory has been kicking around Wisconsin weekend-warrior style for the past decade, but like many musicians, the great pandemic-induced entertainment halt of 2020 forced the band to reflect and refocus musical efforts. The Mascot Theory used this time off to slightly shift their sound away from their acoustic-driven folk-rock music and into a more classic rock inspired Rock and Roll groove. They have played major festivals throughout Wisconsin including Summerfest, Freak Fest, and Mile of Music Festival.
August 19th - Grupo Candela
For nearly 20 years Grupo Candela has been Madison’s premier Latin music powerhouse. Having played at Monona Terrace, Memorial Union Terrace, Dane Dances, and Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Grupo Candela features an all-star lineup of local Latin music legends. Playing a wide range of salsa classics, as well as cha cha, merengue, bachata and cumbia, Candela brings the best of Latin music from around the world right to our doorstep.
It’s a Party in the Park!
Be sure to mark your calendar for the third Monday of June, July and August for this lively party in the park!
Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine or have dinner and drinks at one of our many food carts and brew carts available to serve you at the concert. Food and drink carts open at 6pm along with Madison Music Foundry youth bands and headliners begin at 7pm.
McKee Farms Park is also home to the free Fitchburg Splash Pad and Kids’ Crossing Dream Park so, the kids can enjoy those attractions, or they can dance and sing along with the bands. The whole family can enjoy this party in the park!
McKee Farms Park is the perfect location to park your car, or hop on your bike for a long (or short) ride. Finish your ride with music, local brews and friends. What a great way to spend a Monday night! McKee Farms Park is easily accessible by car and bike, it’s just off the Capital City Trail. Ample free parking is available.
