Come join us for an engaging discussion on patent searching from Connie Wu, (Engineering & Patent Information Specialist for the Rutgers Libraries) who also represents the interests of the US Patent & Trademark Office. Connie will share a brief overview of intellectual property (IP), share some best practices/tips/techniques for searching patents, and how to use creativity to begin understanding the value and novelty of your innovation.

This online WebEx event will begin promptly at 3:00pm and will be locked at 3:05pm. If you are unable to join, please email m.deguzman@rutgers.edu to access the WebEx link.

This virtual event is open to innovators and researchers at Rutgers University (faculty/staff/students/alumni and their guests) who are conducting research with commercial potential, developing prototypes, or want to learn how a strong patent position can protect their innovation.
