About this event

Have you explored the cultural richness that Milwaukee's north and south sides have to offer? Here's a chance to learn more about the history and incredible assets of our unique city. Join Dr. Sergio Gonzalez, Assistant Professor of History, and Mr. Jon Parsons, Marquette University High School, as they bring their unique perspectives and expertise in a guided tour of these amazing communities. The experience will conclude with a convening in the AMU to share food and reflections on the tour.

This tour is part of a two-part series of tours focused on engaging students with the City of Milwaukee. Participants in the fall tour will have priority registration for the second part of the series, a spring tour of the Near West Side! More details to come.

This is a free program and we respectfully ask registrants be considerate of limited seating. If you decide you are unable to attend, please cancel and release your ticket in a timely manner.

This program is made possible by the Marquette University Student Government, the Center for Engagement and Inclusion, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Office of Service Learning, and the Office of Economic Engagement.
