You can choose which Duo authentication method you prefer each time you log in to Duquesne online services.
Note
If you are getting a new phone you will need to re associate your new phone with the QR code in the Duo App in DORI.

Why do I need to use MFA at Duquesne?
MFA helps protect personal information stored in your DORI and email accounts, such as grades, financial information, contact information and other sensitive data from malicious cyberattacks, such as phishing emails or password guessing.
While CTS has many tools in place to combat these attacks, students and employees can still be targeted. In almost all cases, MFA can help protect your personal information and sensitive data by adding an extra layer of security to your accounts.

The most common services that require Duo MFA include:

How often do I need to use Duo MFA?
If you use Duo's "Remember me" feature, you only need to use Duo MFA once per 30 days. Otherwise, you will need to use Duo MFA each time you sign into a Duquesne online service.
What information does the Duo Mobile app collect from my device?
I don't want to install Duo Mobile on my smartphone. How else can I use MFA at Duquesne?
