Amid pandemic fears of overrun hospitals, federal regulators have released figures that show how full each hospital is — including with COVID-19 patients — and how many beds each has to spare.

The figures cover all adult inpatient beds that a hospital is staffing, as well as the subset of beds staffed in an intensive care unit. COVID-19 patients include confirmed cases as well as those considered to be under investigation for the virus.

The data covers the most recent Friday-to-Thursday period, and the figures are a daily average from that week.

Search below for any hospital in Illinois, then click on the name to get more detailed information. (Figures weren’t provided for hospitals with very small patient loads.)

Data as of Dec. 21.
