Kudos to Kendrick Lamar, as his most recent studio album, DAMN., has become his third million-selling set in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music. In the tracking week ending March 29, DAMN. sold 4,000 copies, bringing the album’s total sales to 1.002 million.

The rapper previously collected million-sellers with To Pimp a Butterfly (released in 2015, 1.05 million sold) and good kid, m.A.A.d city (2012, 1.72 million).

DAMN. debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated May 6, 2017, and spent four nonconsecutive weeks atop the list. It marked his third straight No. 1 effort, following untitled unmastered. (2016) and To Pimp a Butterfly.

After 50 weeks on the chart, DAMN. has yet to depart the top 20, having gone no lower than No. 17 since its arrival on the tally. On the latest chart (dated April 7), the set rises 14-13.

Overall, DAMN. has earned 3.137 million equivalent album units, of which 1.002 million are in traditional album sales.
