Megan Thee Stallion (real name Megan Pete) is a Houston-raised rapper. Her birthday is February 15, 1995, and her height is 5’10”. She went viral in 2016 after a cypher of her freestyling over Drake’s “4PM in Calabasas” was posted to social media. She became the first female rapper signed to 300 Entertainment in 2018. Her ‘Tina Snow’ single “Big Ole Freak” was her first to crack the Hot 100, peaking at No. 65 in May 2019, while the EP peaked at No. 166 on the Billboard 200. Standalone single “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign would climb the Hot 100, topping out at No. 11 in August 2019. Megan dropped her debut studio album, ‘Good News,’ in November 2020, and it reached No. 2, with single “Body” making it to No. 12. “Savage,” off EP ‘Suga,’ became her first Hot 100 No. 1, reaching the summit in March 2020. Her feature on Cardi B’s “WAP” also topped the chart in August that year. Sophomore album ‘Traumazine’ arrived in 2022 and peaked at No. 4. Megan Thee Stallion has worked with various artists during her career, including Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X and more. She received the Powerhouse Award at the 2019 Billboard Women in Music, and has won several Grammys, including best new artist and best rap song for “Savage” in 2021.
