Dave Stewart
English musician, producer and songwriter Dave Stewart was born on Sept. 9, 1952. Stewart and Annie Lennox comprised the synth-pop duo Eurythmics, whose “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983; they scored two additional top 10s on the Hot 100 with “Would I Lie To You?” and “Here Comes the Rain Again.” Stewart has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and is a Grammy, Brit Award and VMA winner.
