SZA

SZA (real name Solana Imani Rowe) is a wave-making R&B singer-songwriter who grew up in Maplewood, N.J. Her birthday is Nov. 8, 1989, and her height is 5’4”. She was signed to Top Dog Entertainment in 2013 after Terrence Henderson heard her self-released EPs ‘See.SZA.Run’ and ‘S.’ Her first set to crack the Billboard 200 was EP ‘Z’ in 2014, peaking at No. 39. Debut studio album ‘Ctrl’ arrived in 2017 and reached No. 3, while single “Love Galore” with Travis Scott was her first Hot 100 charting song, peaking at No. 32. Sophomore album ‘SOS’ topped the Billboard 200 for an impressive 10 weeks, and spawned several No. 1 songs, including “Kill Bill” and “Used” featuring Don Toliver. She has also collaborated across genres with Justin Timberlake, Drake, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzo, Maroon 5 and others. SZA has received multiple Grammy nominations, including for best new artist, best urban contemporary album for ‘Ctrl,’ and record and song of the year for ‘All the Stars’; she won the trophy for best pop duo/group performance alongside Doja Cat for “Kiss Me More.” She was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year in 2023.
