Seven New Jersey health systems are partnering with digital health company Wildflower Health to boost maternity care in the state.
The collaboration will give the health systems access to Wildflower's value-based care tools, a digital platform that allows for remote monitoring and virtual services, and health advocates and coaches.
The participating organizations include Morristown-based Atlantic Health System, Freehold-based CentraState Healthcare System, Teaneck-based Holy Name Medical Center, Flemington-based Hunterdon Health, New Brunswick-based Saint Peter's Healthcare System, Ridgewood-based Valley Health System and Marlton-based Virtua Health. They make up the Healthcare Transformation Consortium of independent health systems in the state.
"Our member hospitals and health systems have always been committed to delivering the highest quality care possible to all women," said Kevin Lenahan, executive vice president and chief business and strategy officer for Atlantic Health System, in a Feb. 2 news release. "Working with Wildflower allows us the opportunity to improve both member and physician experience while helping reduce the cost of care and improve the quality of care for our employee health plan."
The partnership officially started Jan. 1, and the value-based model is being rolled out in phases across the health systems.
