BCP teachers are hired through Baltimore City Public Schools and are part of the Baltimore Teachers Union (BTU). Therefore, interested applicants must meet Baltimore City Schools requirements for employment, which include a valid standard professional teaching certificate appropriate to the grade and or subject to be taught.

Paraeducators
BCP paradeucators are hired through Baltimore City Public Schools and are part of the Paraprofessionals and School Related Personnel (PSRP) union. Therefore, interested applicants must meet Baltimore City Schools requirements for employment, which includes at least 48 college credits from an accredited college or university or successful completion of the MSDE Para Pro Assessment.
