Education and Certification
Attend 12 weeks of paid training at a designated training provider where you’ll obtain four industry-recognized certifications and earn college credit toward a degree.
Comprehensive Training
Along with receiving free room and board, you’ll learn from experienced mentors in both classroom and instructional lab settings.
Real-World Experience
Following classroom instruction, you’ll transition to an Amazon facility and receive 2,000 hours of on-the-job mentorship from an experienced maintenance technician.
Technical Skills
Throughout the program, you’ll acquire a wide range of technical skills, including industrial electricity, mechanical components, fluid power, and programmable logic controllers. No previous technical experience required.
Earn as You Learn
Begin earning on the first day of orientation and receive competitive pay increases as you progress through the program.
Job Placement
Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll receive a certificate from the US Department of Labor and swiftly transition to a guaranteed full-time role with Amazon’s RME team. Put your skills to use as you repair, troubleshoot, and support the machines that keep operations running smoothly.

Kelly Monroe, Mechatronics Junior TechnicianAs a kid, I was always interested in technology and had a passion for taking things apart and putting them back together again. Now I’m doing what I have always dreamed of doing as a career, and it’s awesome. It’s never too late to try something new and challenge yourself.
Khurram MalikControl Systems TechAmazon has given me hope and a career path by investing in my growth and development. I get paid to learn what I love doing.
Wendy WyattMechatronics Junior TechnicianMost of what determines how good you are at this job is working hard, asking questions when you’re stuck, and having the courage to jump in and physically get that experience. It’s one thing to watch something be done, but the real learning comes when you’ve got your hands on it. There’s absolutely nothing you can’t do with hard work, strategic planning, and support from a team.
Katherine HopkinsRME MHE Technical Trainer (Former MJT)The program did a great job of teaching me the fundamentals of [maintenance]. Even though I didn’t understand everything at first, I was able to keep up and follow along with the techs at my site from the moment I got there. This opportunity changed this divorced mother’s life.
Dominique BrionesMechatronics Junior TechnicianMy biggest success story was learning that my comfort zone was imaginary and that growth occurs when fear disappears.
