About Alma
Alma Institute was born out of our great hope, and the world’s deep need, for an equitable, accessible, and culturally-sensitive psychedelic healing ecosystem. We bring together the field’s leading voices in psychedelics & social justice with dedicated, heart-centered students who are committed to psychedelic healing in service of all living beings.
Grounded in relationship and reciprocity, collective healing is at the heart of who Alma is, and all we aim to do.
Our Team
Alma Institute is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational institution approved by the Oregon Health Authority and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission. We are funded by tuition fees and philanthropic partnerships. Our core offering is a Psychedelic Facilitator Certificate Program which meets state requirements to certify psilocybin facilitators in accordance with the Psilocybin Services Act.
This educational program is also open to applicants beyond Oregon who wish to participate for their own personal growth and discovery.
