Students who have emotional/behavior disorders (EBD) need a supportive and safe environment in order to realize their potential. Some students with EBD need extra help in order to establish and maintain healthy relationships and develop their social skills and decision-making abilities. Student's aggressive behavior is often misunderstood.
Northeast Metro 916 supports students with emotional/behavior disorders in all of our general and special education programs, including alternative schools, care and treatment programs, and the Career and Technical Center.
We also support member districts with professional development, equipment, and other resources so they can meet the needs of students in their local schools.
